Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Production Manager to lead our client’s food manufacturing plant, driving safety, quality, productivity, and team development. You will oversee line performance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives on the plant floor.

The role requires strong leadership, plant-floor presence, and the ability to build capable teams in a regulated environment to meet production goals and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of food manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years leading supervisors and teams.
• Strong knowledge of BRC, SQF, FDA/USDA, OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations with accountability for safety, FSQA, productivity, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with BRC, SQF, FDA/USDA, OSHA and internal food safety standards.
• Manage and develop supervisors through performance reviews, coaching, and engagement initiatives.
