Qualifications

• Strong electrical background and knowledge of electrical systems.
• Experience with hand and power tools essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Five years' experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• PLC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical trouble-shooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety procedures during maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical devices in operation.
• Dismantle machines, replace parts, and adjust feed mechanisms.
• Repair/replace parts; lubricate and clean.
• Work with electrical conduit, wiring, drilling.
• Operate drills, grinders, welders for parts.
• Repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components.
• Maintain clean work area and safety.
• Accept responsibility for safety of team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
