Job summary

CATALLIA MEXICAN FOODS, LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician I for our Minnesota facility. This hands-on role supports construction, service, repair or replacement of equipment and building systems with a focus on safe, accurate, and timely work.

You will partner with production and quality teams to handle emergencies and planned maintenance. The position requires a 1-2 year technical certification in maintenance mechanics, 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, and

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1-2 year Technical Certification in maintenance mechanics, electricity, electronics, or related.
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance is required.
• Experience in a food production or bakery environment is a big plus.
• Experience reading blueprints; knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, hydraulics, welding, painting, flooring and light carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a safe, productive maintenance program and assist in repair/replacement of equipment.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams for emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to support reliable plant operation.
• Maintain a sanitary facility and equipment per GMP policies.
• Develop SOPs with maintenance team and communicate across shifts.
• Follow Maintenance Manager directions and plant policies.
