Shearer’s Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for its Phoenix, AZ plant. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of plant systems in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Shifts include Day 6am–6pm and Night 6pm–6am with a $3/hour night shift premium; the 2-2-3 schedule supports continuous operations. Candidates should have mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC exposure and hold a craft apprenticeship or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent production maintenance experience preferred.
• 3 years of manufacturing experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills; PLC experience may be beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsabilités

• Maintain plant systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules and repairs.
• Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle and move stationary machinery and equipment.
• Inspect machinery to detect irregularities; perform maintenance per work orders.
• Follow safety and food safety protocols; stay on call for emergency repairs.
• Perform calibration, installation and maintenance of process instrumentation.
