Shearer’s Foods, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Electromechanical Technician to support food production on the 12-hour night shift (6pm–6am). The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant systems and equipment, including pumps, conveyors and packaging machines.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and PLC skills. Starting hourly rate is $35.80; a $3 shift premium applies for nights.

Qualifications

• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent in maintenance.
• Successful completion of Ramsay Maintenance Skills Assessment.
• 3 years of manufacturing experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and PLC skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plant systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery.
• Maintain pumps, conveyors, valves, gearboxes, and packaging equipment.
• Follow safety and food safety protocols; stay on call for emergencies.
