Job summary

Shearer’s Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Waterford Plant in Waterford, Pennsylvania. The role operates on a 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, 2-2-3 night rotation with an hourly range of $29.75–$33.25 plus a $2.00 shift premium for night shifts.

The technician will set up, install, repair, and maintain production machinery, perform preventative maintenance, and diagnose equipment malfunctions. A Ramsay Maintenance Skills Assessment is required during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent production maintenance experience.
• 3 years of manufacturing experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and some PLC experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance during machine service windows and unscheduled repairs.
• Diagnose equipment problems and perform parts replacement as needed.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Support preventive maintenance program and continuous improvement initiatives.
