Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production machinery and facility systems in a food manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, equipment diagnostics, and adherence to GMP, HACCP, and OSHA standards.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, perform hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, and document activities in the CMMS while coordinating with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school education preferred.
• 5 years’ related experience in industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in automated food processing.
• 5 years’ experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment to minimize downtime and ensure production needs.
• Maintain sanitation and safe working conditions in the facility.
• Document maintenance work and parts used in CMMS.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, QA, and safety teams to plan maintenance.
