Job summary

Rich Products Corporation in Salem, MA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to ensure reliable operation of plant equipment. You will perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and electronic repairs and preventive maintenance across production lines.

The role requires 3-5 years in food processing, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience with SCADA, PLCs, and electrical controls. You will train other associates and maintain GMP and safety compliance while supporting production improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in food processing and machinery maintenance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to train other associates in maintenance operations.
• Ability to work in a self-directed team environment.
• Proficient with Rich’s SCADA system.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical and PLC concepts.
• Awareness of GMP and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses maintenance failures.
• Uses drawings and manuals to tune equipment and solve problems.
• Maintains safe, GMP-compliant work areas.
• Operates SCADA and completes paperwork.
• Trains associates on equipment troubleshooting.
• Supports production and training of operations staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
