Job summary

Richardson International in New Hope, MN, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pasta production, packaging, and utility equipment, ensuring safe, reliable plant operations and compliance with food safety and quality standards.

You will document maintenance activities in CMMS, collaborate with Production, Operations, and Engineering, perform preventive maintenance and changeovers, install equipment, and uphold safety policies in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Formal technical training or apprenticeship in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including PLCs, relays, motors, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
• Knowledge of industrial utility systems (boilers, chilled water, compressed air, cooling towers).
• Experience safely operating hand/power tools in an industrial setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills across departments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production, packaging, warehouse, and utility equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs per schedules and standards.
• Support installations, changeovers, and modifications by interpreting schematics and docs.
• Monitor and maintain plant utility systems to ensure proper operation.
• Accurately document maintenance activities within CMMS.
• Collaborate with Production, Operations, Engineering and others while upholding safety and quality.
