Job description

Discover Your Day-to-Day

At Didion Milling, every shift starts with a purpose: transforming corn into safe, reliable food ingredients and biofuels. As a Food Packaging Operations Technician, you’ll launch the line, verify settings on PLC-driven equipment, and ready materials with hand tools so production starts smoothly and safely.

As cases move, you’ll watch the process like a hawk - tracking quality to FDA and CGMP standards, catching defects, confirming labels, and documenting every run with complete, accurate logs. Between checks, you’ll stage packaging components, operate a forklift to move pallets and materials, and team up on light assembly tasks to keep everything flowing.

By shift end, you’ll button up reports, help with equipment care, and flag opportunities to improve throughput and reduce waste - owning your area and driving continuous improvement projects that make tomorrow better than today.

  • Use forklift and warehouse skills to move materials and manage inventory safely inside the facility.
  • Assist with assembly tasks that support packaging operations as needed.
What You Bring

  • Ownership mindset toward your work area and equipment.
  • Initiative and a collaborative, team-first approach.
  • Drive to create and execute continuous improvement projects.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English to coordinate with teammates in and beyond the packaging department.
