Job summary

Didion Milling, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Technician in Cambria, Wisconsin. You will keep packaging equipment running smoothly, troubleshoot jams, and perform quality checks to ensure high standards.

This is a hands-on role in a team-driven environment that values initiative and reliability. We offer a 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am schedule on rotating shifts, with a competitive $22-$25/hour base pay plus a $3 shift premium and paid time off for night shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic driving skills required; forklift experience a plus.
• General computer literacy and data entry ability.
• Fluent English communication with team members.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot jams, seals, and equipment issues quickly.

• Location: Cambria, WI
• Available Schedules:
  • 6am-6pm on a 2-2-3 rotation
  • 6pm-6am on a 4 on/4 off schedule
• Compensation:
  • $22-$25/hour based on experience
  • $3 per hour shift premium and an extra 40 hours of paid time off for night shift!

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Graduate, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Basic driving skills required; forklift driving experience a plus.
• General computer competency required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, in particular a food safe environment, a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously using critical thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills to complete assigned tasks safely without supervision.
• Demonstrate ownership of job function and area equipment.
• Demonstrate personal initiative and collaborative, team player approach.
• Ability to proactively drive continuous improvement project creation and execution.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently in order to communicate effectively with team members within and external to pack department.
