Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Oregon, WI facility. The role focuses on mechanical maintenance of conveyors, cheese packaging equipment, and boilers, with basic electrical duties up to 220 volts.

Qualifications

> At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or related field; entry-level considered.
> Strong mechanical aptitude for food packaging and plant equipment.
> Experience with conveyors and related mechanical systems.
> Basic electrical work up to 220V; willingness to learn more electrical skills on the job.
> Hands-on maintenance duties including troubleshooting and repairs.
> Understanding of hydraulics and industrial mechanical systems.
> Ability to work safely in a GMP-regulated facility.
> Good problem-solving and equipment troubleshooting skills.
> Physical ability for bending, lifting, and working in cold environments.

Responsibilities

> Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on conveyors, cheese packaging equipment, boilers, and other plant machinery.
> Work on Viking equipment and newer stainless builds; perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
> Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues on plant equipment up to 220V.
> Install new equipment and modify existing machinery as needed.
> Handle general facilities maintenance to support safe operations.
> Support machine operation and production as needed; assist with cleanup.
> Follow GMP and safety procedures; document maintenance activities and parts usage.
> Collaborate with production to identify issues and priorities for maintenance.
> Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
