The Production Mixer is responsible for preparing and mixing the ingredients required for the assembly of food products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Correctly and accurately assemble ingredients & record on production paperwork
- Follow blend sheets to ensure accurate product
- Mixing & blending of ingredients to ensure a consistent final product that matches customer specifications.
- Operate all production equipment, including Kettles, Pumps, Dye Mixers and Mills
- Complete production paperwork accurately and timely
- Understand and follow all sanitization processes
- Consistently practice food safety, sanitization, and work safety policies & procedures
- Perform all duties in compliance with USDA, federal, state & local regulations, and company policies & procedures, including safety protocols and the use of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Regular and reliable attendance
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- No minimum education required; high school or GED preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Able to communicate effectively
- Able to work in an efficient manner while performing repetitive hand motions
- Be multi-task oriented
- Able to stand for entire work shift
- Able to lift up 5-15 pounds occasionally
- Reliable and punctual; be willing to work overtime when required
- Some experience is preferred, but not required; training will be provided
- Must pass criminal background check
