Job summary

Betterbody-Foods- in Lindon, UT is seeking a durable production operator to support the mix/pack line in a fast-paced environment. You will load bulk ingredients, operate a forklift, pallet jack, and ensure quality checks are completed.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, following written and verbal instructions, and adhering to safety standards. This full-time shift runs 10 hours, Monday to Thursday, with overtime as needed; opportunities for advancement and a team-focused workplace are

• Be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Pass a food handler certification within 30 days of hire.
• Commit to following all company procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Load bulk ingredients onto pallets.
• Load bulk ingredients into the mixer.
• Unload mixer into Bulk Supersacks.
• Check batch records and mixer clearances for quality and safety.
• Re-work products to meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean work environment by sweeping, mopping and handling waste.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack as required.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Description

This is a fast-paced position that has the responsibility of providing the mixed bulk product to the production line. Must be able to work in and manage a three-person team. Must be able to lift bulk product on a consistent basis.

Essential Job Duties:

• Be able to follow directions both written and verbal
• Load bulk ingredients onto pallets
• Load bulk ingredients into mixer
• Unload mixer into Bulk Supersacks
• Ensure food products meet desired quality and safety standards by completing check (batch records completion, first article checks and mixer clearance checks)
• Participate in re-working product that did not meet desired quality and safety standards to bring it up to acceptable standards
• Work as a team to maintain a clean environment by sweeping, mopping, keeping trash picked up and taken out, wiping down mixer and components, etc.
• Must be able to drive a forklift and manage a pallet jack.
• Perform other related tasks as required

Competencies

• Ability to understand and follow written/spoken instructions in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
• Ability to take and pass a food handler’s certification test within 30 days of hire date.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. The shift is 10 hours.

Day Shift Hours are 3:20pm to 1:50am

Monday – Thursday

Overtime might be required at times.
