Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC. is seeking a full-time Food Production Mixer Associate to join our production team. You will perform a variety of tasks including operating mixers, measuring ingredients, and filing lot sheets, while following directions from Line Lead, QA, and Management.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, stand for the full 8-hour shift, and work a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:30am to 3:30pm. Weekend hours may be required during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow recipes and measurements in English
• Comfortable working around moving conveyors
• Previous food production mixer experience in a factory environment preferred but not required
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift Monday-Friday from 6:30am to 3:30pm

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all food production equipment and surrounding areas (Production, Oven Room, Kitchen)
• Operate mixer machines and measure ingredients
• Fill out lot sheets and report to Line Lead, QA, and Management
• Support clean-up of equipment, tables, scales, and utensils as needed
• Work additional hours including weekends during peak seasons

Job description

We are looking for full-time, Food Production Mixer Associates who can work a 8-hour shift schedule between 6:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday. This position will perform a variety of tasks related to cleaning and maintaining all food production equipment and surrounding areas which include the Production, Oven Room, and the Kitchen. The Mixer Associate is responsible for machine operation, measuring out ingredients, and filing out lot sheets. The Mixer Associate will report directly to and follow instructions from their Line Lead, QA, and Management.

All positions require the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, repetitive use of hands and arms, and walking, standing for an entire 8-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Previous food production mixer experience in a factory environment preferred, but not required
• Ability to work a 8-hour shift Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 3:30pm.
• Additional hours including weekends is required during peak seasons
• All positions require the ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Ability to follow recipes and measurements in English
• Ability to correct lot codes, check expiration dates for all ingredients
• Clean-up equipment, tables, scales, and utensils as needed
• Must be comfortable working around moving conveyors
