Job summary

Kraft Heinz Davenport Plant seeks a lab technician for the 3rd shift to perform routine microbiological testing of product, environment, water, and production samples, and to document results accurately. This role requires independent work, strict adherence to GLPs/GMPs, and effective communication with QA and production teams.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and science-related education or experience. Training in aseptic techniques and data entry is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Science-related education or experience in microbiology, biology, chemistry, or food science preferred.
• Ability to learn and accurately perform laboratory testing and sampling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiological testing on product, environmental, water, and production samples.
• Document, review, and enter laboratory results into systems.
• Perform aseptic techniques, dilutions, plating, and media preparation.
• Identify deviations and communicate issues/OPs promptly.
