Job summary

Kraft Heinz Massillon, OH is seeking a Microbiology QA Technician responsible for conducting and recording microbiological tests on ingredients, finished product, equipment and environment, ensuring compliance with plant and regulatory requirements.

You will perform AOAC methods, record results, hold non‑compliant products, assist QA supervisors, maintain lab inventories, and support safety and HACCP procedures; a BS in Microbiology and knowledge of GMP/GLP required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Microbiology or related sciences; 2–4 years' related experience may be considered.
• Experience with food safety regulations (USDA/FDA) and QA laboratory environment.
• Ability to read and interpret lab data and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct micro testing on ingredients, finished product, equipment and environment.
• Record results and hold non‑compliant product per specs.
• Perform AOAC‑approved tests (total plate count, E. coli, Salmonella, Listeria, etc.).
• Maintain lab inventories and ensure equipment and chemicals are stocked.
• Prepare QA paperwork and participate in HACCP/food safety programs.
