Job summary

Mars in Illinois is seeking an Operations Operator to support the production line. You will operate equipment, ensure quality and safety, and help drive continuous improvement in a TPM environment.

The role requires at least a high school diploma (associates preferred) and 2+ years in a food manufacturing setting with automated processes, including PLC/HMI. Shift is 2-2-3 pattern with 6:00 pm–6:30 am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates preferred in engineering or manufacturing.
• 2+ years in food manufacturing with automated processes; PLC/HMI experience preferred.
• Strong math, communication, computer and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a TPM environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in the assigned area meeting quality and safety standards.
• Fill out HACCP and military sheets correctly.
• Perform changeovers and cleanouts per standards.
• Participate in TPM teams and support 5S in the manufacturing area.
