Sensient Technologies in Perth Amboy, NJ is seeking a Food Manufacturing Operator for 2nd and 3rd shifts to join a collaborative production team. You will operate, monitor, and fine-tune equipment, follow detailed recipes, load ingredients, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work overtime, including Saturdays.
• Strong attention to detail and flexibility to perform various production tasks.
• Interest in manufacturing and desire to contribute to a high-performing team.
• Willingness to learn new skills and continuously improve processes.
• Previous manufacturing or food production experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Run, oversee, and fine-tune production and packaging equipment to support safe, efficient operations.
• Follow detailed recipe cards, operating instructions, and batch documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Measure and load ingredients, package finished products, and palletize goods for shipment.
• Complete equipment start-up, shutdown, and cleaning tasks according to established procedures.
• Safely operate a forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing facility (training provided).
• Keep work areas clean and organized while complying with company policies and food safety requirements.
