Job summary

Sensient Technologies is seeking 2nd and 3rd shift packagers/production operators to join a collaborative, hardworking team in Wisconsin. The role focuses on packaging yeast powders used in food, cat food, livestock feeds, and probiotics, with built-in shift premiums and OT.

Pay averages around $31+ per hour, with opportunities for overtime. You will stack bags on pallets, operate shrink wrap and bagging equipment, take quality samples, and follow strict food safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is required.
• Ability to read and write with a desire to learn about equipment and food manufacturing.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs regularly, and position 100 lbs, with standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Package yeast powder for food, cat food, livestock feeds, and probiotics.
• Stack powder bags on pallets and operate a shrink-wrapping machine.
• Take samples to ensure quality standards.
• Operate and monitor forklifts and bagging equipment.
• Clean assigned areas per company and government policy.
• Fill out run-rate and production paperwork.
• Follow food safety and good manufacturing practices.

We are looking for 2nd and 3rd shift packagers/production operators to join our team to make high quality food ingredients! Pay averages $31+/hour without working OT!

What you’ll do:

• Package yeast powder which goes into food products, cat food, livestock feeds, and probiotics
• Stack powder bags on pallets and operate a shrink wrapping machine
• Take samples of product to ensure quality standards are met
• Operate and monitor equipment (forklifts and bagging equipment)
• Perform cleaning for your assigned area that complies with company and government policy
• Fill out required paperwork related to run rates, product types, and production summaries
• Follow food and safety standards/good manufacturing practices

What you’ll bring:

• Attention to detail
• Ability to work both 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, as well as weekends
• Ability to read, write, and a desire to learn about equipment/food manufacturing
• Ability to lift up to 55lbs regularly, position 100lbs, stand for extended periods of time, assemble equipment, and work safely in hot environment
