Job summary

Sensient Technologies is hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift packagers/production operators in Wisconsin. The role involves packaging yeast powder for various products and operating shrink-wrapping equipment to support high-quality production.

You will inspect products, take samples for quality checks, and follow food safety and GMP guidelines while handling equipment like forklifts and bagging systems. The position requires physical strength and willingness to work long shifts, including weekends.

• Perform cleaning in the assigned area per policy.
• Fill out paperwork related to run rates, product types, and production summaries.
• Follow food safety standards and good manufacturing practices.

We are looking for 2nd and 3rd shift packagers/production operators to join our team to make high quality food ingredients! Pay averages $31+/hour without working OT!

What you’ll do:

• Package yeast powder which goes into food products, cat food, livestock feeds, and probiotics
• Stack powder bags on pallets and operate a shrink wrapping machine
• Take samples of product to ensure quality standards are met
• Operate and monitor equipment (forklifts and bagging equipment)
• Perform cleaning for your assigned area that complies with company and government policy
• Fill out required paperwork related to run rates, product types, and production summaries
• Follow food and safety standards/good manufacturing practices

What you’ll bring:

• Attention to detail
• Ability to work both 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, as well as weekends
• Ability to read, write, and a desire to learn about equipment/food manufacturing
• Ability to lift up to 55lbs regularly, position 100lbs, stand for extended periods of time, assemble equipment, and work safely in hot environment
