Job summary

Pastaio USA Inc in Pennsylvania is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support safe, reliable operation of production equipment in a GMP food manufacturing environment. You will perform preventive, predictive (where applicable), and corrective maintenance, document work in the CMMS, and collaborate with Production, QA, and Safety to minimize downtime.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, lead root-cause analysis, and support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting industrial equipment in a food manufacturing / GMP environment.
• Reading mechanical drawings, basic electrical schematics, OEM manuals.
• Familiar with PM procedures and safety instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to document work clearly and accurately in CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive (where applicable), and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Document work orders thoroughly in the CMMS and communicate findings to Maintenance leadership.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, and Safety to minimize downtime and ensure GMP compliance.
• Support installation, changes, and minor fabrication as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (5S, TPM) and maintain a safe work environment.
