Job summary

Schwan's in California is seeking a full-time Production Associate for the 2nd shift, starting pay $20.00 per hour. You will unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods in a food manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement.

You will ensure products meet company and government quality standards, inspect for waste, and report issues to supervision. Compliance with USDA/OSHA/Federal regulations and GMPs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throw out or fix products as necessary; document waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Operate in compliance with USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, GMPs, and safety procedures.
