Job summary

Schwan's Company is seeking a manufacturing team member for a 1st shift position in a food production environment. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with duties including unpacking materials, mixing ingredients, assembling products, and packaging finished goods.

You will help ensure products meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements, while adapting to rotating schedules and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Able to work rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products and manage waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform duties in compliance with USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations and GMPs.
