Job summary

Bee Line Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Alburgh, VT warehouse. The role focuses on loading, unloading, and moving materials while maintaining product quality and compliance with safety and food-handling requirements.

You will operate powered industrial trucks, manage inventory using FIFO methods, and help ensure accurate records in a temperature-controlled, food-grade environment. This position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP principles.
• Ability to read shipping documents and follow safety rules.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and count products.
• Load and unload trailers, containers, and pallets according to schedules and safety standards.
• Follow GMPs and food safety handling procedures.
• Inspect forklifts and equipment daily, reporting any defects or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Ensure products are stored in designated areas using FIFO and within temperature ranges.
• Safely handle fragile or perishable products to prevent damage or contamination.
• Assist in warehouse organization, including cleaning and sanitizing work areas per guidelines.
• Comply with OSHA, FDA, USDA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Travel to other facilities if necessary.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
