The MEC Technician maintains, troubleshoots, and optimizes electrical control systems at a food manufacturing site to ensure safety, quality, and uptime. In this role, you will diagnose issues across mechanical drives, gearboxes, pumps, and electrical circuits while supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in electrical engineering technology or related field.
• Technical PLC programming or electrical controls certifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems incl. PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors and control wiring across production and utility systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on control systems and automation equipment.
• Assist installation and commissioning of new equipment and control panels and update control logic.
