Job summary

Torchy’s Tacos is seeking a Food Expeditor in Westminster, CO to help ensure every order that leaves the kitchen is accurate, timely, and up to Torchy's standards. You will serve as the connector between the kitchen and runners to deliver the best damn tacos to guests.

You’ll verify tickets, manage timings, handle allergies with a manager when needed, portion prep items, and maintain station setup and cleanliness to keep the line moving and orders correct.

Qualifications

• Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler’s certification.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for several hours and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Verify tickets and ensure order accuracy and modifications are correct.
• Record and communicate ticket times to keep kitchen and service flowing.
• Involve a manager for allergies or special orders to ensure safety.
• Portion salsas and prep items; label, date, and store properly.
• Set up stations per diagram and restock for shifts; break down at end of shift.
• Keep kitchen and stations clean and organized; perform line sweeps.
• Prepare chips and dips in ticket order to maintain freshness.
