Torchy’s Tacos is hiring a Food Expeditor to ensure every order leaving the kitchen is accurate and timely. You’ll help maintain flow between kitchen and runners, ensuring guests receive the best damn tacos.

Responsibilities include verifying tickets, communicating times, handling allergies with a manager, portioning prep items, and keeping stations clean. You’ll work in a fast-paced team with a focus on guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler’s certification.
• Certification(s) must be obtained by your first day or within the required timeline.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Open to varied schedules and hours based on restaurant needs.
• Stand for several hours.
• Able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves.
• Able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to serve guests with urgency.
• Ability to have fun!

Responsabilités

• Verify tickets to food orders, double-check modifications, and ensure all dishes meet Torchy's standards.
• Record and communicate ticket times to keep kitchen and service flowing.
• Involve a manager for allergies or complex tickets to ensure guest safety.
• Portion salsas on sheet pans and record yields; label and date items.
• Set up stations per diagram; maintain backups and restock for shifts.
• Break down and clean stations; keep workspace tidy and organized.
• Make chips and dips in order of tickets to ensure freshness and quality.
