Job summary

Crooked Pint Ale House in Waite Park, MN is hiring an organized Expo to help keep our kitchen and dining room running smoothly during busy shifts. You will review orders for accuracy and coordinate with FOH and BOH to ensure every order leaves the kitchen ready for service.

This role offers $15 per hour with weekend availability. We value detail orientation, calmness under pressure, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant expo or kitchen is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

Responsibilities

• Review completed orders for accuracy, presentation, and completeness.
• Organize food and coordinate orders so they leave the kitchen efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with cooks, servers, food runners, and managers.
• Monitor ticket times and help keep orders moving.
• Identify missing or incorrect items and communicate with BOH to correct them.
• Ensure food is properly garnished, plated, and ready for the dining room.
• Coordinate with food runners and servers to deliver orders quickly.
• Maintain a clean, organized expo area.
• Stay aware of overall service flow and jump in where needed.

Crooked Pint Ale House in Waite Park, MN is hiring an organized, communicative Food Expiditor (Expo) to help keep our kitchen and dining room running smoothly during busy shifts.

The Expo plays an important role in making sure every order leaving the kitchen is accurate, complete, and ready to go. This is a great position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well with both the front and back of house, and takes pride in keeping things organized.

What You’ll Do:

• Review completed orders for accuracy, presentation, and completeness
• Organize food and coordinate orders so they leave the kitchen efficiently
• Communicate clearly with cooks, servers, food runners, and managers
• Monitor ticket times and help keep orders moving
• Identify missing or incorrect items and communicate with the BOH to get them corrected
• Ensure food is properly garnished, plated, and ready for the dining room
• Coordinate with food runners and servers to get orders to guests quickly
• Help maintain a clean and organized expo area
• Stay aware of the overall flow of service and jump in where needed
