Walmart Specialty Equipment (Food Technician) in Troy, MI is seeking a skilled technician to maintain and repair food equipment and related facilities at our local Walmart stores. You will follow maintenance schedules, diagnose issues, and perform cleaning and preventive tasks to keep equipment safe and functional.

Under supervision of the General Maintenance Manager, you will manage work orders, train store associates, and help ensure food safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing commercial food equipment.
• Ability to develop and adhere to maintenance schedules.
• Capability to train Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple crafts and tools.
• Utilize the work order system to manage reactive repair work orders and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely.
