Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Specialty Equipment (Food Technician) to join our local store team in Ohio. You will perform routine maintenance on food service equipment, follow maintenance schedules, inspect, clean, and repair facilities and fixtures under supervision.

This role emphasizes safety, efficiency and teamwork, includes training Store Associates, keeping accurate work orders and logs, and helping ensure quality food service.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing commercial food equipment.
• Ability to develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ability to train Store Associates on equipment care.
• Experience managing work orders and maintenance logs.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Use work order system to receive and document repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and diagnose facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Complete required safety and equipment training.
