Walmart is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair commercial food equipment and manage maintenance logs. The role involves developing preventive maintenance schedules and training Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning, while ensuring safety and efficiency across Walmart facilities.

The technician will work with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment, supporting store operations and customer satisfaction in Tigard, OR.

Qualifications

• Option 1: Vocational or technical certification and 2 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• License in a related trade in the city and/or state where the job is located.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations, as defined by the FMCSA, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.]
