Walmart is seeking a Specialty Equipment (Food Technician) to join our local team in Walmart stores. You will perform routine maintenance on food equipment and fixtures, follow schedules, and support safety and cleanliness across the store.

You’ll report to the General Maintenance Manager and contribute to efficient repairs and high food safety standards. The role emphasizes hands-on repair, training of store associates, and effective communication to minimize downtime and maintain excellent

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders regularly.
• Work at heights.
• Stand or sit for long periods.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Clean driving record required.
• Trade cert or 2 yrs in plumbing/electrical/equipment or related.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Use work order system to receive and document repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training for safe equipment operation.
