Job summary

Walmart in Watertown, NY seeks a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair a range of commercial food equipment, including ovens, slicers, fryers, and display equipment. You will also develop preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

You’ll train Store Associates on proper equipment care and cleaning, maintain accurate work orders and maintenance logs, and uphold high safety and food-safety standards across the store operations.

Qualifications

• Option 1: Vocational or technical certification and 2 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• License in a related trade in the city and/or state where the job is located.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities
