Job summary

Walmart NAUGATUCK CT is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to execute routine and preventive maintenance on store facilities and equipment. You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling tasks under supervision, using hand and power tools to complete repairs.

You will document activities in the work order system, respond to emergencies, conduct inspections, and complete safety training. This role supports store operations and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical certification and/or related trade experience preferred.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or material handling equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets across trades.
• Use work order system to receive and document repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, diagnose, and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Complete required training to operate tools safely.
