Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician for our Deptford, NJ store to perform routine maintenance and repairs, ensuring safety, functionality, and cleanliness of facilities and fixtures.

Under the supervision of the General Maintenance Manager, you will respond to work orders, inspect equipment, and complete tasks using plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related trades. This is a full-time on-site role with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and tech/vocational certification.
• 3 years in one of the trades or 5 years total related trade experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment and assets using multiple crafts.
• Use work orders system to receive and document repair work.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate tools safely.
