Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, food science, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in laboratory, manufacturing, research, or product development environment.
• Hands-on experience with precision fermentation and downstream processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, ability to manage multiple projects.
• Collaborative mindset, able to work across lab, pilot plant, and manufacturing environments.
• Flexibility to travel for domestic and international production trials.

Responsibilities

• Support development, testing, and scale up of new food color products and manufacturing processes.
• Operate laboratory and pilot plant equipment while evaluating materials, product performance, and process improvements.
• Assist with production trials at partner facilities by collecting data, documenting results, and collaborating with technical teams.
• Maintain operating procedures, quality records, and documentation meeting regulatory requirements.
• Work with scientists, production teams, and external partners to transfer new technologies into manufacturing.
