Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in chemistry, food science, or engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience working in a laboratory, manufacturing, research, or product development environment.
• Experience with precision fermentation and downstream processing, including process development, optimization, or scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, testing, and scale-up of new food color products and manufacturing processes.
• Operate laboratory and pilot plant equipment while evaluating raw materials, product performance, and process improvements.
• Assist with production trials at partner facilities by collecting data, documenting results, and collaborating with technical teams.
• Maintain accurate operating procedures, quality records, and documentation that meet regulatory and quality requirements.
• Work with scientists, production teams, and external partners to transfer new technologies into manufacturing.
