Job summary

Sensient Technologies in Saint Louis is seeking a Process Developer to drive development, testing and scale-up of new food color products. You will operate lab and pilot plant equipment, collect data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovations from lab to production.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, food science, engineering, or related field, hands-on lab experience, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally for production trials.

• Hands-on lab, manufacturing, or product development experience.
• Experience with fermentation and downstream processing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and scale up new food color products.
• Operate lab and pilot plant equipment and evaluate materials.
• Support production trials at partner facilities and document results.
• Maintain procedures and quality records per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with scientists and production teams to transfer technologies.
