Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, fresh department environment. You will build positive connections with customers and teammates, share product knowledge, and help customers find what they need while maintaining attractive displays.

Strong communication and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to use store technology. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required. Physical tasks may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming store experience in Fresh departments.
• Share product knowledge and assist customers in finding items.
• Maintain fresh, full, visually appealing displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products per standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery teams.
• Support other tasks to keep store operations running smoothly.
