Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to provide exceptional customer service in our Fresh departments. You will connect with customers, share product knowledge, and help locate items while maintaining attractive displays.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery sections. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or food service experience is helpful, but not required.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
