Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections, share product knowledge, and help customers find what they need while maintaining attractive displays and fresh inventory.

This role requires comfort with technology, strong communication, and the ability to follow safety standards. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
