Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service in our Fresh departments. You will use product knowledge to assist customers, keep displays fresh and organized, and support diverse tasks across the store to ensure a welcoming shopping experience.

This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to stay active in a fast-paced environment while following food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
