Job summary

Country Pure Foods in Stockton, CA is seeking a Full Time Manual Labor associate to operate the pre-production room and support the blending and elaboration processes. The role requires maintaining sanitation, following GMP/ISO/GFSI standards, and collaborating with QC and management as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule within the plant operating hours.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure (whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for virtually the entire shift; regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment with exposure to fumes or airborne particles and nut allergens.
• Teamwork, good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control the pre-production room (blending area and elaboration tanks).
• Identify materials not meeting quality control standards and report to QC or Management.
• Keep the mixing area and utensils clean and disinfected.
• Collaborate on product recovery and reprocessing as needed.
• Follow company standards (GFSI, ISO, GMPs, etc.).
• Wear required PPE for the department.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Plant Manager.

Salary Range: $17.40 To $18.00 Hourly

This position is primarily responsible for the development of Lakewood products.

Primary duties and responsibilities include:

• Operation and control of the pre-production room (blending area and elaborationtanks).
• Know how to recognize any material that does not meet quality control standards and advise Quality Control or Management of the same.
• Keep both the mixing area and the utensils used clean and disinfected.
• Collaborate with product recovery and reprocessing when needed.
• Work under the standards fixed by the company (GFSI, ISO, GMP's, etc.)
• Must be able to wear required personal protection equipment for the department.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Plant Manager.

Oversight responsibilities:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Must be able to work in a wet environment. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. Exposure to nut allergens.
• Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass all medical exams, drug check.
• Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
