Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is currently recruiting an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team.

The Ballymascanlon House is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland. This impressive Victorian House, dating back to 833 A.D., forms the heart of the hotel and is one of Ireland's most remarkable historical estates.

The Food & Beverage Supervisor is a key role dedicated to ensuring our guests have a memorable experience with excellent service.

About The Role

Primary Objectives:

1. Support the Restaurant Manager and Conference & Banqueting Manager in the daily operations of the Proleek Restaurant and assist with conference/wedding functions.
2. Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Food & Beverage outlets in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, maintaining high guest satisfaction and departmental profitability.

Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities

1. Maintain high standards of food & beverage service, ensuring efficiency and courtesy.
2. Assist with the setup of syndicate rooms and wedding services according to hotel standards.
3. Ensure staff are knowledgeable about the menu and content.
4. Oversee order taking to meet standards.
5. Ensure proper setup and mise en place in accordance with operational standards.
6. Manage payments accurately and maintain security of transactions.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage environment such as a hotel, restaurant, or bar.
