Serving as a cornerstone of northern Atlanta’s newest mixed-used community, the Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta is the official hotel of the Atlanta Braves, located within steps of SunTrust Park, premier office space, the Coca-Cola Roxy music venue, and various shopping and dining options.

Our luxury hotel features 16 floors with 264 rooms, including 28 suites, over 20,000 square feet of meeting space, and accommodates business travelers, families on vacation, and everyone in between. We aim to redefine "live, work, play" as a "play, work, stay" destination, providing an unforgettable experience with amenities like our elevated pool deck, Lobby Bar, and hotel restaurant.

Job Description

Ensure proper training and supervision of all associates, deliver prompt, courteous service that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards, and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Have full knowledge of all menus and beverage menus
  • Have full knowledge of responsible alcohol service
  • Proper setup and breakdown of the area and service station
  • Provide high-quality guest interactions—be pleasant, friendly, and polite
  • Multi-task efficiently, maintaining high service standards
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests accurately and promptly
  • Enter orders into the POS system ensuring accuracy
  • Manage walk-up and seated guests appropriately
  • Prepare beverages for servers from printed tickets
  • Follow service standards and best practices consistently
  • Demonstrate excellent teamwork with internal staff
  • Assist in overall supervision of the department during assigned shifts
  • Ensure staff punctuality and maintain a sense of urgency
  • Handle guest comments and complaints professionally
  • Stay on the floor during operating hours to oversee service
  • Communicate effectively with guests and gather feedback
  • Observe, teach, and correct associates’ service techniques
  • Assist management with scheduling, forecasting, payroll, and other administrative tasks
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management or the chef
  • Complete daily requisitions and monthly beverage inventory
  • Coordinate to ensure compliance with all food and beverage initiatives
Qualifications
  • Previous supervisor experience preferred
  • Bartending experience required
  • Knowledge of wines, beers, and liquors necessary
  • State-issued Manager/Supervisor Food Handler’s Certification required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work long shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must have TIPS and ServSafe Food Handlers certifications
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
