Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support the Toledo Complex across Huntington Center and Glass City Center. You will oversee purchasing, receiving, and inventory control for food, beverage, and operational supplies to ensure cost control and compliance.

The role requires forecasting needs, negotiating with vendors, managing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records while collaborating with culinary leadership and finance teams to sustain uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with strong purchasing/procurement knowledge.
• Minimum of three years in purchasing, procurement, warehouse or inventory management.
• Experience negotiating with vendors and managing supplier relationships.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, receiving, inventory control, and cost management.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Customer service oriented with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage food, beverage, paper, and operational purchasing.
• Source, negotiate, and procure liquor, wine, beer, and related beverage supplies.
• Process daily food, beverage, and operational requisitions.
• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders with approved vendors.
• Receive and verify vendor deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
• Inspect deliveries for accuracy, quality, and damages.
• Ensure inventory labeling, storage, rotation, and safety standards.
• Maintain liquor storage area and accurate purchasing records.
• File and organize purchasing docs by department and date.
• Assist with month-end inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Forecast purchasing needs and monitor inventory levels.
• Build relationships with vendors and distributors; lead negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, including alcohol rules.
