Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Process Engineer to design and build food and beverage processing facilities. You will work across controls, packaging, mechanical, and electrical disciplines from concept through start-up, with a focus on P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and equipment specs.

The role requires collaboration with engineers, designers, and clients, travel 30-50% for on-site coordination, and a strong interest in sanitary design and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with P&IDs is a plus.
• Interest in sanitary design and food safety standards.
• MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD experience.
• Past process experience in food/beverage or sanitary environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop process design basis and select unit operations.
• Create process flow diagrams and P&IDs.
• Prepare mass and energy balances.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (engineers, designers, architects).
• Oversee process equipment installation and commissioning support.
• Develop project scope, budget, and schedule for process work.
• Assist with cost estimates and client proposals.
• Support talent growth within the organization.
