Job summary

Dennis Group is offering a process engineering internship in Duluth, GA. You will support design and construction activities across controls, packaging, mechanical, electrical, and building systems, gaining hands-on experience from concept to startup.

Junior or senior students pursuing a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering or related field are encouraged to apply. Travel up to 50% is required for site visits and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with process flow diagrams and P&IDs is a plus.
• Interest in food safety and sanitary design principles and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop process design basis and select unit operations.
• Coordinate with other project disciplines (engineers, designers, architects).
• Prepare process flow diagrams and P&IDs.
• Create process and energy balances.
• Size and specify process equipment and utilities.
• Assist project management with scope, budget, and schedule for process work.
• Coordinate schedules with contractors for equipment installation.
• Develop cost estimates and proposals with clients.
