Job Description

The Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) is responsible for managing all aspects of the food service and beverage operation. This includes overseeing the food service team, ensuring efficient execution of all food programs in compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines, and supporting the General Manager. The FBM will also be responsible for training Customer Service Associates and maintaining a safe, sanitary, and appealing food environment to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Principal Duties
  • Ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers. Respond to complaints or inquiries and solicit feedback to meet customer expectations.
  • Oversee the 24/7 execution of food service programs, including ordering, production, handling, and display.
  • Meet or exceed food service and beverage performance and profitability goals.
  • Implement food service efficiencies and follow planograms.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and maintenance of food service equipment and facilities.
  • Analyze results and trends, develop and execute action plans to improve profitability.
  • Stay informed on marketing programs and educate staff accordingly.
  • Train, coach, and manage performance of food service associates, including recruiting and recognition.
  • Conduct hands-on training for food service CSAs to ensure proficiency.
  • Ensure safety, security, quality, and store operation policies are followed.
  • As needed, run shifts, including deposit prep and fuel operations.
Essential Functions

  • Understand store finances and impact on business
  • Physical ability to perform tasks like standing, walking, lifting up to 35 lbs, etc.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Leadership experience, preferably in food service
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Experience in store operations, including foodservice
  • Serve Safe Certification
  • Strong customer service, relationship building, and communication skills
